Mr. Snack

3 Rounds for Time of
10 Box Jumps
5 30 yard retrieves
30 seconds of tug

As always, never sacrifice drive for a better time. Be smart to keep the dog wanting to work hard and injury free.

Subbed Sit, sit pretty, stands for box jumps
Brutal work out for him... Did not want to tug with the disc around either. My hands were too sore to tug with a disc. Not sure if he would tug with it anyway... He wants to give it to me so I can throw it... =-)

    5min swim for cool down.

  2. Wallace
Box Jumps - 20" table for box jumps. Jumped up on one side and off the other. Turned around and went back the other way.
Retrieves - 20 yards instead of 30 for Wallace. Used disc throws for retrieves
    Tug - fleece tug toy
Time - 6:38 Wallace is totally a crossfitter. End of the second round I went to give him a short breather and he jumped right onto the table wanting to start the next round.... He was completely wiped at the end and his retrieves really slowed down through the rounds. Glad I went with the 20 yarders, cuz the 30 yarders would have been too much for him at this point.

Box Jumps - same as Wallace. Took a little bit to have Snack settle into a nice groove with them though.
Retrieves - ball on a rope. Would bounce it at about 20 yards and his outrun would carry him to the 30.
    Tug - fleece tug toy
Time - 9:22 - Needed a big break in the final round during the retrieves to be able to finish strong. He's now crashed on the dog bed in the living room.

Walk and stretch for both dogs afterwards to cool down.

  4. Yep. Plus the different exercises seemed to keep my dogs going cuz it wasn't the same thing for a longer time.
