Spring Loaded

Start the clock and give the dog the okay to start tugging on the springpole. Keep the clock running and at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 minute marks have the dog stop tugging and perform 10 jumps going back and forth over 1 agility jump.

If you don't have a springpole or your dog doesn't tug on a springpole, tug yourself with the dog and make sure it stays intense.

This workout will be changed to 5 - 10 rounds depending on fitness level of 2 minutes on the springpole, followed by 10 jumps back and forth over a single agility jump for time. Dropped bar is a "no rep" on the jumps.

  1. Realized halfway through this workout that it would be hard to measure. Should have been 6 rounds of springpole for 2 minutes and 10 agility jumps for time. We can adjust the number of rounds and potentially up it since we could give the dog a breather if need be to get the number of rounds accomplished. Dropped bars on the jump should be a "no rep". Wallace was wanting to keep going, but he was good and wiped after the jumps at 12 minutes, so I stopped the workout there.
