Timed swimming is usually accomplished by toss and fetch of an object with as little time out of the water for the dog as possible. This can also be done in a pool or by swimming with your dog. Life vests are allowed.

OK. He seems ok now. He was outside stairing into the house as he always does but I noticed he kept lifting his paw up like the ground was hot, but he was on the grass. I called him down and he was walking really staggery. I was thinking heat stroke at the time so I hosed him down quickly Now I am thinking more just cramps.
ReplyDeleteHe is in his crate now with a fan. Just let him out and he seems like nothing happened.
Here is what we did. 10 long distance throws 60+ yards each. Then 8 min drive to lake. Swam them for 15 mins. Waz went the whole time. Nova on and off.
